I've enjoyed the experience of breeding and racing these feathered atheletes that I created this site to share and promote this wonderful and exciting sport of pigeon racing. 12/9 - Mr Crosbie's Auction was a big success despite the rainy weather. On behalf of the River City Flyers, thank you to all of those people who was a part of Mr Crosbie's Auction, whether it was helping setup or cooking in the kitchen, or bidding on birds, or simply enjoying themselves among friends. Updates

Well Old Birds is finally over!!! It was a long and tough season. I still managed to win UPR Team Champion Loft for the first time, as well as 2nd UPR Champion bird. I started the season with only 16 widowhood cocks. I lost 9 birds but mainly on the 500 and the 600. I had an exceptional yearling shine for me this year, 05 RCF 55 BB. As a youngbird he won me two diplomas, one of them being a club 1st from Redding, which also turned out to be a combine 1st as well. This year in the OB season he managed 4 more diplomas including two club firsts, but more importantly those two wins were good enough to top the combine once more. I played around with the thought about flying him next year, but he will be moving from the widowhood loft to the stock loft. I believe he will make a bigger impact for me breeding then flying. 55's overall flying record between YBs and OBs is:

1st @ 150 miles (combine 1st)

1st @ 247 miles (combine 1st)

1st @ 357 miles (combine 1st)

2nd @ 319 miles (9th combine)

3rd @ 247 miles

4th @ 84 miles

His overall record will be more then enough to qualify him for AU Registered Champion.
